I concentrate on areas of law that are particularly close to my heart and in which I am well experienced due to my many years of practice, namely:
I have been cooperating for many years with colleagues who specialize in various areas of law.
In matters relating to Greece, I have a close cooperation with colleagues in Athens who are well versed in various areas of law (e.g. administrative law, social law, real estate law, employment law, criminal law).
Labor law
Especially for questions with a binational reference in the digital world, such as:
Which law applies if my employer is based in Germany but I work completely online and remotely from abroad?
Who pays and what social security contributions according to e.g. European law?
Which courts have jurisdiction if I have claims under employment law?
etc.
Family Law
In particular international matrimonial law, divorce of binational marriages, child custody matters with a foreign reference, such as: Which law applies to a divorce if the spouses are of different nationalities? What about contact with my child if I get divorced? What maintenance claims does my child have against the other parent? Who has custody?
Private international law
In particular, I advise and represent German and Greek companies that operate in the other country and have corresponding legal interests.
